FAQ

  • 1. What age groups are your sensory play guides designed for?

Our sensory activity guides are made with babies and toddlers aged 0–24+ months in mind, but we know every child develops in their own time. That’s why we don’t strictly follow age brackets—we use our own stage names instead:

    Snugglers (0–6 months)

Wigglers (Those who aren’t quiet on the move yet)

    Crawlers (6–9 months)

    Walkers (9–12 months)

    Explorers (12–18 months)

    Thinkers (24+ months)

These names reflect where your little one might be developmentally, not just their age. We fully believe that milestones aren’t a checklist and that every child—regardless of how, when or if they reach those moments—deserves the chance to explore, connect, and enjoy sensory play in a way that suits them.

  • 2. How do I use your sensory activity booklets?

Each stage—Snugglers, Wrigglers, Crawlers, Walkers, Explorers, and Thinkers—has its own carefully designed booklet with two weeks of themed sensory activities. That means even our tiniest babies who aren't yet moving, and those in that in-between wriggly stage, get just as much fun, engagement, and sensory input as our confident movers.

Just print your guide, gather a few everyday items (nothing fancy needed!), and follow the gentle daily prompts. It’s all about creating playful, meaningful moments together—no pressure, just connection and curiosity.

  • 3. Can I use your resources in a nursery or group setting?

Absolutely! Our guides and printables are designed to be flexible and easy to use, whether you’re an early years professional, childminder, or running a parent-and-baby group. They work wonderfully for both group activities and one-on-one time, helping you create engaging, developmentally appropriate sensory play experiences that suit any setting.

  • 4. Are your resources suitable for children with special needs?

Yes! Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we create. Our activities are thoughtfully designed to be adaptable for children with sensory processing differences, developmental delays, or other additional needs. We aim to support all areas of early development, making sure every child has the opportunity to explore, learn, and enjoy sensory play in a way that feels right for them.

If there’s anything specific you’d like adapted to better suit your child’s needs, just send me a message—I’m happy to help!

  • 5. Are your resources available in other languages?

Yes! We currently offer some of our sensory activity guides and printables in Dutch to better support families in their native language. We’re always exploring options to make our resources accessible in more languages. If you’d like to see resources in a specific language, please get in touch—we’d love to hear from you!
